Hoops for Heart
Heart & Stroke Hoops for Heart is a fundraising basketball program that gets youth active and supports life-saving research into the root causes of heart disease and stroke. And because this can be a student-run event, it's also a great opportunity for students to develop their leadership skills. On the road to a Happy Heart
On the road to a Happy Heart uses activities focusing on nutrition and physical activity to take students on a virtual educational voyage. As they "travel", they will discover and learn about the importance of getting moving and eating well. On the road to a Happy Heart offers a kit of simple activities that are easily integrated into a lesson plan and respect the skills targeted by Québec Education Program. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
Responsible for setting the Canadian Guidelines for cardiopulmonary resuscitation throughout Canada, the Heart and Stroke Foundation offers a large range of CPR training courses, including defibrillation and other cardiovascular emergency care. For more details, click here. |

Heart at Work

Heart in Motion

Take Life to Heart
Take Life to Heart is an educational and rehabilitation program for heart patients and their families. It demystifies heart disease and helps patients change their high-risk behaviours in order to facilitate a return to normal life and lower the risk of recurrence.
