A program that’s fun and full of energy, On the road to a happy heart offers teachers and their students of all cycle a virtual voyage to promote healthy living. As they “travel,” they will discover and learn about the importance of getting moving and eating well. Developed in collaboration with a large group of education and health professionals, the program offers a kit of simple activities that are easily integrated into a lesson plan and respect the skills targeted by the Québec Education Program. These educational and fun activities, which combine healthy eating and physical activity, were designed to have an impact on the students, but also on their immediate environment, including the school, their friends, their families and their community.

The health of young people is a priority for the Heart and Stoke Foundation of Québec, and this is why we are continuing our efforts to promote increasing awareness of health with On the Road to a Happy Heart.

Let’s work together to battle a sedentary lifestyle and obesity, which portrays the health profile of young people. Let’s give them a chance to adopt healthy life habits so they’ll grow up healthy! Join us in this great adventure and register for the On the road to a happy heart program.
